Welcome to GPVault

Coming soon:
A free, online document management service for aspiring and established healthcare professionals

GPVault is a new online service from CGFNS that helps streamline and accelerate the document verification processes that nurses and other health professionals must undergo to advance their careers. These include applications for employment, licensure, further study, and authorization to live and work in other countries.

Accessible via computer through a secure web portal, GPVault enables individuals to safely and securely store their verified educational and professional records and have them ready to use to start their careers after graduation or further advance them later on.

Why use GPVault?

When a healthcare professional applies for a job that requires verified education records and licenses to practice, it can take weeks or even months for their schools and licensing authorities to gather up and provide all the necessary documentation to CGFNS. It is by far the lengthiest portion of the verification process, as the credential issuers often have to receive and process the request, then authenticate, print, stamp, and often physically send those documents via postal mail or courier (which is not the most reliable method of conveyance).

GPVault provides health professionals with the opportunity to reduce document waiting time through a digital solution that vastly improves the security and reliability of conveyance and delivery.

Your credentials:
verified and always ready –
in your GPVault

In most cases, GPVault users will already have their verified documents in their account that they can use immediately for the assessment processes that are often required to gain employment, professional licensure, or visas to migrate abroad.

When your educational and professional records are in GPVault, it signifies that:

They are verified by CGFNS.
They are from a recognized/accredited institution.
The inclusion of your licensure records demonstrates that you are authorized to practice in your country of study.
Your credentials are ready for you to use in applying for licensure and work visas in other countries.

GPVault is currently in a pilot phase with students at select nursing schools in Indonesia and the Philippines.

It will become available worldwide for healthcare professionals and students in 2025. If you want us to alert you when GPVault is available to you, please submit your name and email address in the form below – and we will be in touch!

How GPVault works

Create your account on the secure GPVault platform.
Authorize the school you are attending (or graduated from) to upload your educational records, such as your transcripts, into your account – and to provide any other required information. (Students will authorize their school to do this upon their graduation.)
If you are licensed to practice, authorize your regulatory/licensing authority to verify and upload your license and provide other required information.
Once your verified information and documents are uploaded into your GPVault, and provided there are no discrepancies, they will be safely kept there until you are ready to use them.

There is no charge to you for any of the above steps. Applicant charges will apply only when you authorize CGFNS to convey your verified credentials and other information to an employer, licensing authority, or immigration agency.

PLEASE NOTE: To be able to participate in the GPVault program, your school and/or licensing authority must first be registered on the CGFNS Credential Transfer Portal (CTP), which is the engine that allows for the verification and storage of educational and professional records. More information on registering can be found at our Credential Transfer Portal page.

In addition to helping digitalize and streamline the verification process often requested of schools and regulators, GPVault is a mark of recognition for organizations that support career advancement in the health professions.

Only recognized (accredited) entities are able to participate and make GPVault available to their students and licensees. Their involvement is an indication of global recognition as an educational institution or regulator, and participants receive the title and seal of designated Collaborating Center for Excellence.
