CGFNS Republishing and Reuse Guidelines
We often get requests from partners and other industry stakeholders to republish, quote, cite, or copy graphs/charts from our data-centric research and reports. We’re happy to share our analytics and thought leadership content, and we thank you for your interest in redistributing this data toward the goal of supporting industry discussions, advancing additional research, shaping policy and regulatory decisions, and raising awareness about this sector.
Individuals and organizations wishing to republish or reuse all or part of any CGFNS-published content should be aware of the following guidelines and proceed accordingly.
Republication
If you want to republish a significant portion of a CGFNS white paper or article or you want to republish an entire white paper or article, you must request permission in writing.
Contact republication@cgfns.org.
Partial Reuse
You may cite or quote any publicly posted CGFNS content (without notifying us or seeking permission to do so) if these guidelines have been followed:
- A full source citation must be included on every page, slide or digital site where the quoted material is displayed. This should include:
- Title of the cited work
- Author(s) full name(s)
- Publishing organization(s)—i.e., CGFNS International Inc. and any named collaborators
- Date of publication
- Date of access or download
- A link to the CGFNS source page for the work being cited
- No alteration or modification can be made to the quoted material in question.
Note: For media outlets and journalists quoting CGFNS content, simple citation is sufficient. Example: Source: CGFNS International, [Title of publication], [year]
Charts and Graphs
CGFNS reports often contain data-centric graphs and charts that can support other research and industry discussions. These can be used (without notifying us or seeking permission) if these guidelines have been followed:
