CGFNS International Well Represented at Fifth Triad in Geneva, Switzerland
Rear Admiral Sylvia Trent-Adams, Chief Nurse Officer, U.S. Public Health Service, Madam Xiuhua Li, President of The Chinese Nurses Association with Franklin Shaffer, CEO of CGFNS International at the Fifth Triad (consisting of the World Health Organization International Confederation of Midwives and the International Council of Nurses), a series of high level meetings and workshops held in Geneva, Switzerland in May of 2014. This conference brought together leaders from numerous health professions regulation to discuss issues surrounding the preparation of a health care workforce for the 21st Century.
Madam Xiuhua Li, President of The Chinese Nurses Association with Franklin Shaffer, CEO of CGFNS International at the Triad, a group comprised of the World Health Organization International Confederation of Midwives and the International Council of Nurses. The Triad, the first one of its kind since 2012, is a series of high level meetings and workshops held in Geneva, Switzerland in May of 2014. This conference brought together leaders from numerous health professions regulation to discuss: different models of health professional regulation; regulatory body governance and performance; and trade in services and implications for regulation.
