Philadelphia—CGFNS International, Inc., the world’s largest credentials analysis organization serving the nursing and allied health care professions, and the Organization for Associate Degree Nursing (OADN) have entered into a strategic partnership to examine nursing education with a global perspective.
A joint Memorandum of Understanding details how CGFNS and OADN will collaborate to explore issues surrounding nursing education in a globalized world. As part of the partnership, CGFNS will deliver workshops and presentations at OADN’s annual meetings. In addition to providing these opportunities, OADN will organize webinars focused on nursing education, the global workforce, human resources for health and other related topics. Both organizations have also agreed to collaborate on additional initiatives as they unfold.
“This MOU represents the formal strengthening of the relationship between CGFNS and OADN,” said Dr. Franklin Shaffer, EdD, RN, FAAN, FFNMRCSI, President and CEO of CGFNS International. “CGFNS’ greatest strength has always been its relationships and so we welcome this initiative to broaden and deepen our relationship with the nursing education community within the United States as well as globally.”
OADN CEO Donna Meyer, MSN, RN, ANEF, FAADN stated, “We are very excited to formalize our relationship with CGFNS to develop and work on projects related to the global nursing environment.
