Philadelphia – CGFNS International, Inc., the world’s largest credentials evaluation organization for the nursing and health professions, is pleased to announce the election of four new officers and two new members to its 2022 Board of Trustees.
Pamela Maraldo, PhD, RN, FAAN, was elected to the role as chair of the Board of Trustees, after serving as treasurer for 2021. Dr. Maraldo, the Chief Executive Officer of Girls Inc. of New York City has been a member of the board since 2018. Julie A. Fairman, PhD, RN, FAAN was elected to serve as vice chair, having held the position of secretary last year. A Professor of Nursing and the Endowed Nightingale Professor in Honor of Nursing Veterans at the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing, Dr. Fairman has served on the board since 2019.
Jack Needleman, PhD, FAAN, the Fred W. and Pamela K. Wasserman Professor and Chair of the Department of Health Policy and Management, UCLA Fielding School of Public Health, having been on the board since 2017, was elected as treasurer. Serving on the board since 2018, Lynwood Brooks, MBA, President of Health Professions Network in Lolo, MT, was elected to the role of secretary. Officers hold their positions for two-year terms, serving a maximum of four years.
CGFNS wishes to thank Sister Rosemary Donley, PhD, APRN, FAAN, who served as Chair of the Board of Trustees since 2018. Sr. Donley is Professor and Jacques Laval Endowed Chair in Justice for Vulnerable Populations at Duquesne University School of Nursing in Pittsburgh, PA. Also departing is Connie White Delaney, PhD, RN, FAAN, FACMI, who served as Vice Chair since 2018. Dr. Delaney is the Dean and a Professor at the University of Minnesota School of Nursing, Minneapolis, MN.

Joining the board are Selena A. Gilles, DNP, ANP-BC, CNEcl, FNYAM, and Sylvain Trepanier, DNP, RN, CENP, FAAN, FAONL. Dr. Gilles brings experience as a nurse practitioner, specializing in responsible pain management. She serves as associate dean at New York University’s College of Nurses and holds a Doctorate in Nursing Practice from Monmouth University. Dr. Trepanier works as a System Chief Nursing Officer at Providence St. Joseph, Renton, Washington. Dr. Trepanier brings a wealth of work experience in leadership roles for healthcare providers and holds a Doctorate in Nursing Practice from Texas Tech University.
